Burdette due to weather.
MTV TIDBITS FROM COACH ZOLLER 6/26 Coach Zoller and Coach Eaton will not be able to coach the week of June 28-July 4 due to the high school coach's moratorium week. Coach Loehr and Coach Boyer will be coaching the team during that week. 6/22 WOW what a fantastic Training Trip down the Mississippi River with Southeastern Swim Club. MTV swimmers visited and trained at Delta State University, Hendrix College, Missouri State University, Drury University, University of Arkansas, University of Missouri, Washington University, University of Southern Illinois, and University of Evansville. Some other highlights of the trip were eating at Lamberts Restaurant, seeing the Dixie Stampede and going to Holiday World. See trip details from Southeastern Swim Club site. Congratulation to the swimmers who attended the Fishers Summer Jam. MTV finished 9th of 32 teams. Most Improved Girls Most Valuable 6/13 There will be a practice at MVJHS from 8-10 AM on Saturday . 6/12 Good luck to Coach Zoller and the members of the Senior Team who are going on a training trip with Southeastern Swim Club 6/15-22. They are traveling in 6 states and will be visiting 9 Universities. 6/9

both the 8 and under and 9&10 Girl's Age Groups. High Point Winners in Age Group 5/27 MTV beat JAWS in last evenings dual meet 494-148. Here are the results Most Improved Double Winners Training Trip Fees are due Monday June 1 5/22 Jasper Dual Meet entries now posted here. There has been several practice schedule changes for
the next two weeks. Plus remember that every registered team member is entered in the dual and Conference SWIM meet unless Coach Zoller is notified in writing and placed in his mail box or by e-mail. Burdette AM practices will start Thursday May 28th.

when using Burdette The agenda for the Senior Team Training Trip is now posted. Alll fees have to be turned in by Monday June 1. 5/21 The Jasper dual Meet has been moved to Tuesday at MVJHS
starting at 5:30. MTV was very lucky to win the Vincennes Dual Meet 378-368. Results are posted here. A "thank you" from the coaching staff to all the 28 swimmers who attended the meet. Please remember that all MTV swimmers are entered in the dual meets, conference meet and any home invitationals unless a written notification is given to Coach Zoller. If you do not turn in a written notification it is assumed that you will be attending the meet. 5/19 Vincennes Dual Info Congratulations to Adele Schnautz on
setting 6 and Eli Schnautz on setting 5/18 All the MTV coaches attended the Central States Swim Clinic this weekend. They had the opportunity to hear Bob Bowman, who is Michael Phelps coach and many other top age group and university coaches. The MTV coaches also saw Matt Grevers nad Brendon Hansen swim and demonstrate skills they felt were inportant to their successes. Matt Grievers was: ’08 Olympic Gold & Silver medalist and a World recordholder. Brendan Hansen was’08 Olympic Gold medalist, World recordholder and medaled in Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the '04 games. Most of the MTV coaches are also be attending a USA

Congratulations goes out to former
MTV and MVHS swimmer Ben Roscoe. The Red Mackey Award, established in 1971, is named for former Purdue Athletic Director Guy "Red" Mackey, who served Purdue from 1942 to 1971. The inspiration for the award bearing his name stemmed from his leadership, loyalty, integrity and concern for others. The criteria for nomination includes a competitive spirit and a positive attitude, loyalty and self-discipline, hard work for the best interest of the team, and a willingness to help others. Purdue was 13th in the NCAA Division 1 Championship |
