THE MT. VERNON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL NATATORIUM |
Mt. Vernon High School, which has a student population of about 800, has enjoyed a continuing success in competitive swimming and diving. Since the pool was built in 1991 MVHS has had several Indiana State High School champions, 27 All-Americans, 31 Academic All-Americans and has won 28 Evansville area Sectional Championships. Mt. Vernon High School has also been NISCA National "Team Ranking" Champions in the small school class.
71 MVHS swimmers have continued their swimming careers as collegiate athletes and two MVHS swimmers have attended US Military Academies.
